The best survey sites reward members for sharing their opinions, playing games, and more. Find the top paid surveys online here!

The top survey sites offer their members a variety of ways to make money and earn rewards. Depending on the website, some ways to earn might include taking surveys, reading emails, playing games, and more. It couldn’t be easier, and it takes just a few minutes a day!

Redeeming your rewards is easy too! Some websites offer points that you can redeem for gift cards. Other surveys pay straight cash through third-party services like PayPal.

Keep in mind, it is important to set realistic expectations. Although it’s an easy way to make money from home and earn rewards in your spare time, taking surveys for money won’t make you rich.

With that said, if you think completing online surveys may be for you, the best thing to do is find several legitimate survey websites and join more than one. That way, you have a constant stream of paid surveys to take.

Sound good? Here’s our list of the best survey sites to try this year!

Best Paid Survey Sites for 2023

Without further ado, here’s our list of the best survey sites this year.

1) Swagbucks

Swagbucks is another one of the best survey sites because they offer so many ways to earn. In fact, members have earned more than $470 million in rewards!

Start by taking surveys for money. Then, surf the web, watch videos, play games, and shop online to earn more rewards. Many of those options are built into the free mobile app, too. How’s that for easy?

At Swagbucks, you’ve also got several options for redeeming your points. For starters, you can redeem your points for cash through Paypal. If you’d rather grab some gift cards, that’s cool, too. Redeem your points for credit at retailers such as Walmart, Amazon, and more. According to Swagbucks, the company gives out 7,000 free gift cards per day!

Swagbucks has long been one of the most popular online survey sites out there, and for good reason. As with most of these companies, membership is always free. And while it varies across offers, some of the earning opportunities are pretty lucrative.

So what are you waiting for? Get started with Swagbucks and earn rewards right away!

3) Survey Junkie

Survey Junkie is still one of the highest paying survey sites, and it remains one of our favorites. With over 3 million members, it’s also one of the most popular.

One of the things I love most about Survey Junkie is that it’s quick and easy to get started. Simply sign up for a free account, complete a profile, and you can start taking surveys for money right away.

Even better, you’ll earn points that you can redeem for cash (through PayPal or direct bank transfer) or gift cards! All you need is 500 points to cash out, which is the equivalent of $5.

With Survey Junkie, you can take paid surveys from anywhere and use any device to do it. So long as you have an internet connection, you can sit down to make some quick, easy cash. Seriously, it’s that simple.

4) LifePoints

According to Lifepoints, they have paid out over $22 million to their members in the last year alone! Now, that is some serious cheese! Of course, when you boast millions of members in more than 40 countries, you can do that kind of stuff.

Lifepoints members share their opinions about products and services every day. Plus, you get to give opinions on some pretty cool stuff. The company claims its members inspired such products as anti-lock brakes, baby and toddler safety car seats, and even cash reward credit cards.

Here’s how it works: The company sends you surveys by email and you get to decide whether to participate. Occasionally, you’ll get “diaries” where you’ll record your activities, behavior, or habits. You might also get free products to try. Topics include sports, travel, health, and many other aspects of daily life.

The rewards are pretty sweet, too. You can pick from hundreds of options in the LifePoints catalog, including being paid in cash through PayPal. Other options include Amazon, iTunes, and Starbucks. You can even donate your points to charity.

5) Branded Surveys

Branded Surveys is one of the top market research companies in the world. In fact, they work with several Fortune 500 companies to gather opinions about their products and services. Even better, they’ve paid out over $18 million in rewards to their community so far!

Like at other websites, simply sign up with Branded Surveys and start taking surveys for money. You’ll earn points for every survey you complete. Those points can be directly deposited into your Paypal account as cold hard cash, or you can redeem them for gift cards at your favorite retailers, restaurants, and more. You can even make a charitable donation if you’d like!

As always, the more surveys you take, the more rewards you make! Joining is free, so get started below!

Here’s how it works: Permission Research is a panel that gathers data about internet connectivity, activity, and usage. You’ll earn a $10 gift card for installing their app on your desktop or laptop computer, provided you stay active for 7 days. Continue to stay active with the app and you can earn an additional $10 at the end of every month.

Additionally, you may be selected to take part in surveys for which you’ll earn extra cash and gift cards. That is some big money for doing almost nothing! It is free to join, so just click the link below to sign up.

7) OpinionSquare

Earn points and rewards for giving your opinion at OpinionSquare. This site boasts over 2 million members who earn rewards through paid surveys about their favorite brands and topics.

To get started, simply download the OpinionSquare app to your device. You’ll then start earning points that you can redeem them for gift cards, electronics, housewares, and more. Select members will also be sent surveys for a chance to earn more!

8) InboxDollars

InboxDollars continues to be one of the best survey sites this year. My favorite thing about InboxDollars is that you don’t have to mess with points. Instead, you simply take online surveys and complete other online activities for cash. That way, you always know exactly how much you’re earning.

InboxDollars offers several ways to earn. If surveys aren’t your thing, you can watch videos, play games, and shop online — all things you might be doing anyway. You can even get paid to read emails and redeem coupons!

Payouts on surveys vary, but most pay between 50 cents and $5.00 and take three to 25 minutes. Are you going to get rich? No. But, even if you only took two 50-cent surveys per day, you’d earn an extra $365 a year from InboxDollars surveys alone. Complete other online activities and join a few more survey sites, and you could start piling up some serious money.

Joining this program is free, and InboxDollars provides a $5 bonus just for signing up. Taking surveys for money AND a signup bonus?!? What’s not to like?

9) Springboard America

Maru Springboard America makes it easy to earn gift cards to your favorite retailers and restaurants. We’re talking about places like Target, Amazon, Apple and more!

Simply join the Springboard America community and complete the pre-screening process. After verifying your email address, you’ll be eligible to participate in a variety of surveys where you can earn points that are redeemable for gift cards.

10) MySoapBox

Share your thoughts and experiences on stuff you buy, use, and do each day. Love it? Hate it? Want to improve it? MySoapBox might be your new thing.

Earn points for surveys and studies and redeem them for gift cards for places you’ll shop at anyway. I’m talking Amazon, Walmart, Target, Apple, Home Depot, and more.

There are two unique things about MySoapBox. First, the company requires you to stick around for awhile before you can redeem your points. Specifically, you can’t redeem your points for the first time until you’ve racked up 25,000 points. (Most surveys pay once you hit 750 to 1,500 points.) MySoapBox does this in order to create a community of engaged members rather than just folks who check in for some quick cash. But if you stick around, it will lead to lots of opportunities to rake in the points and will be well worth your time.

MySoapBox also gives back to the community. Each month, members choose which charity the company gives to. Past charities include the Alzheimer’s Association, the American Bird Conservancy, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. MySoapBox has donated more than $30,000 so far.

12) Nielson Computer and Mobile Panel

Chances are good that you’ve heard of the Nielsen Company before. These are the people who put out the popular “Nielsen Ratings” for television programming, so you know this company is one of the most legit survey sites around.

Formerly called Digital Voice, the Nielsen Computer and Mobile Panel works a little differently than some of other survey sites. Instead of having you take surveys, the Nielsen Computer and Mobile Panel requires you to register the devices you plan to use and install the company’s app. Then, you earn points for surfing the internet as you normally would.

For registering one computer, you can use the points to enter Nielsen’s $10,000 monthly sweepstakes, making you eligible to win up to $1,000 a month. Registering a mobile device earns you points redeemable for prizes and gift cards worth up to $50 per year. I’d say that’s worth considering.

YouGov works with thousands of organizations to seek opinions on interesting topics such as politics, current affairs, products, brands, and more. Most the surveys are short, taking only five to seven minutes. That’s awesome for when you have just a few minutes to kill. Why not make those minutes count?

For every survey you complete, you’ll earn points that you can redeem for rewards. Rewards include cash and gift cards from retailers such as Amazon, Target, and Best Buy.

YouGov Pulse is a separate program that pays points in exchange for downloading an app that tracks your internet usage.

But politics isn’t all that Harris Poll does. At Harris, you can take part in any number of market research surveys. If you’re lucky, you may even be invited to participate in a local focus group! For your efforts, you’ll earn HIPoints. You can then redeem those points for rewards and gift cards. Reward partners include Amazon, iTunes, Starbucks, and more.

  1. Killer list, Greg! You’ve hit some fantastic options. Recently, my aunt was asking me which sites she could trust. I’ll have to forward her this post!

    1. Thanks Kate! These are all legit sites, so she’ll have plenty to pick from. I’d sign up for several at once, that way she’s always got some surveys to take.

    1. Yep. These places are all legit. Most of them are run by larger polling companies (like Nielson) so you know they’re on the up and up.

  4. Nice list Greg. Australia also has a bunch of other survey sites, though we do get sent to GlobalTestMarket sometimes, it’s awesome to earn a bit of extra money when needed.

    Tristan

    1. Yeah, these are all links to US survey sites, although some of these do have international counterparts. Taking surveys is a pretty easy way to earn some cash and rewards though 🙂

  5. I haven’t done any online survey to earn some cash. I think I’ll have to Greg and would start with InboxDollars. I hope I can sock away some cash out of answering surveys.

  6. Do these survey companies issue 1099-Misc. for the earned income? Do they send a check (e.g.InboxDollars) if I prefer cash than GC? If I choose a GC instead of cash, maybe I don’t need to report such ‘income’ on my 1040 form?

  7. I belong to several of these sites. I find it fun and rewarding doing surveys.

    1. It’s easy right? Take a couple of minutes, do the surveys, and make a couple of bucks. As long as you realize that you’re not going to turn it into a part-time job, I think it’s a great way to make a few dollars.

  8. Thanks for the list! I’ve tried some of them before but didn’t know there are these many legit sites!

  9. I use many on this list! The one I see people constantly leaving out is Observa. They pay the fastest for me via PayPal. Great list otherwise, covered all the best!

  10. Semi retired here and with this list I may never have to go back to punching a clock!!

    1. Ha! I’m not sure you can make THAT much with these things, but they are a nice little supplement for not a lot of work.

  11. Such a great article! Participating in online surveys is a great way to generate side income!

  12. Wow! Such a huge list of survey sites you have here! Definitely a great resource. Swagbucks is also one of my favorites but will surely give Survey Junkie a try together with the others I haven’t joined yet. Kudos to this post!

    1. CaptainFI says:

Ive tried both SwagBucks and Survey Junkie and tbh… not something I am going to be doing going forward – just takes so much time for so little payment

  13. Christina Middleton says:

Are there anymore survey websites that pay in check through the mail? Because I can’t find many.I don’t do PayPal unless they send you a check in the mail. Can anybody help me? I have Cashcrate,Inboxdollars & Send earnings. But that is all I have. Can anybody give me some more legitimate ones?

  14. What do I do for a 1099 if I sign up with one of these companies.

    1. All you have to do is fill out any paperwork (like a W9 form) as requested. If required, these companies will send you a 1099 at the end of the year.

  15. Are any of these websites available outside the States?

  16. David Mureithi says:

Among the online jobs that are easy to do is taking part in paid surveys. Certainly when looking for paid surveys, it’s good to be careful. These days most of the sites that say they do offer paid survey services are fake. Finding that site that is legit is like a needle in the haystack. However, it takes time to learn and discover the legit and also filter the fraud ones. The question now is, are there any legitimate paid survey sites? The most important thing to note about paid surveys, is that it’s not that job that you get and get that big cash. Surveys do get you an extra coin on top of what you get from other incomes.

  17. Online Baking Tips says:

Thanks for sharing the list. Great one.

  18. What a huge list you have here! Just wow! Great reference thanks. Been a Swagbucks fan but will try others you have recommended in here. Kudos!

  19. Philip Paul says:

It’s true that online business sometimes are skam

Sometimes we need to take the risk by trying

  20. unrealistically useful site, it has a lot of services for surveys and earnings, thanks to Greg Johnson, he really helped me a lot.

  21. I know it was mentioned above, but I’m also a fan of Swagbucks. However, I basically judge websites based on how they look and it’s one of the cleanest designs.
    -Andrew

  22. InboxDollars is the best.

  23. My experiece with lifepoints, mypoints and drumo is this- if you close your account they will start sending spam/scam texts. How do I know it’s from them? Because I do not do much on the computer with joining sites. When I closed each of these sites (different times) I started to get scam text with my name in it (red flag there that it had to be them).

When I contacted lifepoints and mypoints they both said they never sell their survey takers information BUT after I filed a bbb claim and told them about it the texts miraculously stopped immediately afterwards

    1. Adelaide Smith (Drumo) loves to tell you they do not sell your information over and over again u ntil it’s harassment. NEVER JOIN DRUMO!

  24. James Anderson says:

Thanks for sharing these survey sites! Taking occasional surveys is a great way to earn a little extra cash on the side.
