First, we wanted to apologize to anyone who tried to comment yesterday and couldn’t. We were having issues with one of our plugins and comments were getting thrown out left and right. We think that we have the issue fixed now. If you want to check out yesterday’s post, you can check it out here. Here are the rest of our posts from the week, in case you missed those as well:

Club Thrifty Updates
So, what’s been going on at Club Thrifty? We’re glad you asked.
We recently created a Mortgage Murder Spreadsheet so that all of you debt haters could track your mortgage balance as closely as we do. If you want to know how extra payments could affect your mortgage payoff date, feel free to check it out!
Our 9-5 work situation will be changing starting May 1st. Make sure to check back to get the full scoop on why I’m no longer technically employed.
We are currently counting down until our next vacation begins in 10 freakin’ days! I cannot wait to have a drink or ten under the hot Florida sun. Greg, can you keep an eye on the kids, please?
Speaking of kids, my oldest daughter turns four years old tomorrow. I honestly cannot believe how fast she has grown. She has been asking what kind of cupcakes I’m making her for a month now, and she is super excited for her gymnastics-themed birthday party this weekend!
What is Greg Obsessed With This Week?
For a change of pace, here is something that Greg is obsessed with this week. If you haven’t seen this, be prepared to laugh your crack off. Let’s just say that a sorority sister isn’t happy with her other sisters. If you’d like to watch the video or haven’t seen it, go ahead and click here. Be forewarned, this is totally NSFW or in the presence of children.
Without further adieu, here are some of the posts that I enjoyed this week:
Michelle at Making Sense of Cents asks if she should pay off her house early. Yes, Michelle. You should.
Mom and Dad Money talked about one of my Get Rich Slowly posts, and the importance of goals-oriented lifestyle inflation.
I Heart Budgets talked about strategizing when buying a new (to you) car.
Eyes on the Dollar wrote about emergency room costs.
My Financial Independence Journey wrote about how to save some cash without making your life suck.
Wise Dollar wrote about his most recent mortgage refinance with Roundpoint Mortgage.
Young Adult Money wrote about dating ideas on the twin cities. This cracked me up for some reason since I imported my man from Minnesota.
Bite the Bullet Investing wrote about safe investments. HOT TIP*** There aren’t any.
So, there you have it! Thanks for stopping by Club Thrifty, and we will see you all on Monday!
