What up party peeps? The VIP Club Roundup is back! We are thrilled to be back in full force after an awesome vacation to the Dominican Republic…or as some of our friends from The Great White North like to call it Punta Canada. We had a super busy week, trying to play catch up and all. However, I did manage to get our taxes done. Yay for that being over with, and we even got a little refund! Between all of that, we even managed to get a few blog posts in this week. Here they are, just in case you missed them:
- Types of Investments: Slicing Through the Mystique
- Majestic Colonial Punta Cana: A Review
- Catastrophic Events That Will Keep You Up at Night
- Save Money By Using H&R Block At Home
But, enough about us! Let’s get to some of those fancy search terms!
Here are some of the “best” search terms that brought people to Club Thrifty this week:
- resume smelled like smoke
- saving money makes life boring
- sleep fuck
- sorry it does not work for you, but i have stated on the description “in store” and “us-nationwide”. so there is anything i can do. thanks.
- porno hell clup
What is Holly Obsessed With This Week?
So, as you probably guessed by some of our posts this week, we are both officially obsessed with Game of Thrones. Season 2 just came out on DVD and Amazon Instant Video last Tuesday…and it is SWEET! So sweet, in fact, that we have almost made it through the entire season twice. For those of you who haven’t seen it, here is the trailer for Game of Thrones: Season 2:
Top Posts of the Week
Here are some of our favorite posts from around the personal finance blogosphere this week:
Young Adult Money wrote about food allergies and sensitivities. He also wrote about the lack of vegetarian options in certain cases.
Frugal Rules wrote about some of the reasons he hates being self-employed.
Making Sense of Cents wrote about getting out of debt….with a plan. I love hearing stories about how others have dug their way out of debt!
Monster Piggy Bank wrote about how much money you could save by quitting smoking. Let me give you a hint. It’s a lot!
Budget and the Beach wrote about longing for the simple times……and I could totally relate. Life has gotten too damn complicated, I think.
Debt Roundup wrote about the dwindling household savings rate. He also shared an infographic that was just plain depressing. Sigh.
Krantcents wrote about the case against paying off your mortgage. I am a huge proponent of prepaying your mortgage so we happen to disagree on the subject. However, I love hearing both sides of the argument!
Eyes on the Dollar wrote about the things she missed when she used to blow all her money. Ahhhh……
My Money Design wrote about his Niche Website Project. I love the idea!
NzMuse wrote about the reasons she wants to travel abroad. Preach it, sister! I love to travel!
Average Joe wrote a post sharing some great stock buying tips. Thanks, Joe!
Frugal Portland wrote about her time in Washington, D.C. and how she was going to tack on a few days to her business trip.
Reach Financial Independence wrote about how to save money on travel in the United Kingdom. Great tips!
…and last (but not least) DollarVersity blindsided me with the most important thing that somebody needs to understand about running a business.
