The VIP Club – Our First Weekly Roundup

The VIP Club

Welcome to the first ever edition of the Club Thrifty VIP Club! Over the past few months we’ve been learning a lot about blogging and making some great friends. We’ve had several people who have been super supportive of us. As a way of saying thank you, we’ve decided to start a (probably) weekly post to give some love back to our special VIP supporters.  Of course, with a wife and two kids I don’t really have time to go back through 3 months worth of mentions, so we’ve decided that we would stick to those that mentioned us this week. Hopefully, we didn’t leave anybody off.

Our Favorite Posts of the Week

  1. Big thanks for the mention! Not trying to be rude, but the post looks a little sloppy when you put the whole URL as the anchor text. I just try to use the title of the posts as my anchor text and I think it looks a little better. :) Just trying to help.

Enjoy your weekend Greg and Holly!

  2. Thanks for the mention, guys! I am so happy that you two decided to start blogging.. Club Thrifty is easily one of my favorite reads these days..

  3. I always find those search term games fun. Couldn’t tell you what feet beach is.

Great name for the round up – VIP club. I like it.

  4. Well I feel all special being called a VIP. I’m honored to be mentioned on one of the fastest growing personal finance blogs out there. Thanks you two. I do highly recommend you keep these round ups going…partly in hopes I get future mentions but mostly because I know how helpful they are for growing a blog. Keep up the great work.

  5. Cheers mate for the mention. This is a great idea and I hope you continue with it each week. It’s a way to give back and say thanks and I enjoy doing it myself. Cheers Mr.CBB

  6. Thank you for the link love! LOL at the credit score search term.

  7. Daisy,

In today’s world, things are hard.

That is awesome! I want to meet this person!

  8. “saving money boring” ha! Well, they found the right site to liven it up for them. Thanks for the mention. Check out that Alexa rank dropping like a stone….

  10. Weird, I typed “feet beach” into google and ended up here….OH HEY! You mentioned me! Thanks :)

I think your “VIP Club” is a great idea, definitely keep it going, especially if I’m in it. :D

  11. Thanks for the mention! And haha at your search words

  12. What a nice surprise to see first thing on a Friday morning :) . Thanks so much for mentioning us!

  13. Congrats on doing your first round-up. :-) I usually do mine bi-weekly, but that could be because I’m lazy.

  20. Thanks for including me! Ha – the Matrix – I’m a big dork!

What is up with those search terms? They’re great! I have no idea why anyone would ever use them to search for something, but more power to you if they lead people to your blog!

  21. No problem! We enjoyed your post.

Hey, if we are SEO optimized for the search term “Beach Feet,” I guess that is good…or maybe not:)

  22. Hey! Do you know if they make any plugins to safeguard
against hackers? I’m kinda paranoid about losing everything I’ve worked hard on.
