My Favorite Rewards Cards
Before we get started on your personalized plan, I want to introduce you to some of my favorite rewards cards. Keep in mind that bonus offers and point values are constantly changing, but these are some of my favorite standbys:
Chase Sapphire Preferred Card
The Chase Ultimate Rewards program is my favorite credit card rewards program of all. Here’s why: Chase points are super versatile and valuable. They even transfer to 13 top airline and hotel loyalty programs at a 1:1 ratio! I’m talking about places like Marriott, IHG, Southwest Airlines, United, Air France (Flying Blue), and more. This is a huge benefit for travelers.
How do you earn these valuable points? My favorite card for beginners is the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card. With this card, you’ll earn a ginormous 80,000 point signup bonus after spending $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months. That’s enough to pay for $1,000 in travel through the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal, or you can claim a little less value in gift cards. Of course, you can also transfer those points to one of their travel partners for even more value.
Other Chase Sapphire Preferred benefits include 2x points on travel and dining, no foreign transaction fees, plus trip cancellation/interruption insurance coverage. There is a $95 annual fee.
If you’re looking for the best rewards card to start earn points and miles, this is it. Grab those points now and start traveling for less! Learn more
Chase Ink Business Preferred Card
If love to travel and own a business, the Chase Ink Business Preferred Card is the card for you. Like the Chase Sapphire Preferred, the Ink Business Preferred is a great way to earn Chase Ultimate Rewards points. Again, those points transfer at a 1:1 ratio to several top airline and hotel programs.
With this card, you’ll earn a gigantic 80,000 point signup bonus after spending $5,000 in purchases during the first 3 months. That’s good for $1,000 in travel redemptions through the Chase portal – often more if you transfer your points to a partner loyalty program. Additionally, you’ll earn 3x points on the first $150,000 combined you spend each year on things like travel, online advertising, cell phones, and more. On everything else, you’ll earn 1x points. There are no foreign transaction fees, employee cards can be added at no additional cost, but there is a $95 annual fee – which is more than worth it if you use your points wisely.
Again, this is the first business card I recommend to all of my entrepreneurial friends. I have it myself and absolutely love it! Learn more
