Whats up everybody?!? Is everyone feeling good today? I sure hope so because we’re about to talk about how you can make your money awesome!!!
Last week, Holly and I had the chance to hang out with one of our favorite people in the personal finance community, Chris Peach. This dude is a ball of charismatic energy who truly wants to serve others. He’s also the man behind one of our favorite blogs, Money Peach, and a true friend of ours.
Chris has coached scores of people in his local area about getting their finances in order. He and his wife actually paid off more than $52,000 of their own debt (in just 7 months), so this guy knows what he is talking about! And guess what: Starting today, registration is open for his aptly named “Awesome Money Course.”
If you’re struggling with money, this is a great opportunity to get you started in the right direction. Registration only opens a couple times per year, so you’ve only got a limited time to join. To give you a taste of what you’ll learn, we asked Chris a few questions we thought you’d want to know. Enjoy!
“Awesome Money Course” With Chris Peach
Question 1: Can you describe the Awesome Money Course? How does it work, and how does it help people?
Chris Peach: Awesome Money Course was designed to be the class they forgot to teach us about our money. If you think about it, when were we ever taught how to create a budget, balance a checkbook, pay down our debt, or manage all those other areas of our lives including investing, insurance, mortgages, and saving for the kids’ college?
The answer: Never.
The majority of people get a PhD in personal finance from the school of hard knocks. We go through life without a financial plan and then one day we wake up paycheck to paycheck, with a ton of debt, and really no end in sight. Most often, this is just a continued cycle of the same problems our parents encountered with money, and now we are repeating the cycle ourselves, while our kids are watching and learning.
This isn’t fun at all.
I remember once standing in these same shoes and asking myself, “Why?”. Why did this happen, why me, and why does money have to be so complicated?
When were we ever going to stop living paycheck to paycheck?
When would we make it through the end of the month without feeling completely broke?
How would we ever pay off our debt, save for retirement, and save up for the kid’s college?
This is exactly why Awesome Money Course was created. It’s a step-by-step program for showing you exactly how to create a real budget, develop a savings plan, pay off your debt as fast as possible, and build a rock solid foundation for all areas of your money. Not only will you graduate this program with a complete understanding of how your money should to be managed, but you will have fun along the way! Personal finance can definitely be boring…but I promise you it doesn’t have to be.
I have a certain style of teaching which my students absolutely love! It’s straight-forward, common sense, with a little in-your-face spice that will surely keep you focused and on a plan towards success. From someone who was once living paycheck to paycheck, completely broke, and facing $52k in debt, I get it. I have been there, and not only do I know how my students truly feel, but I also teach the same step-by-step system which resulted in our family paying off $52k in 7 months and then managing to remain debt free ever since.
This course is delivered 100% online over 9 different modules dripped out over 9 weeks. Each module will have a 30-45 minute video lesson taught by me. At the end of each lesson, there will be action items for you to complete, including worksheets, downloads, and tools to create your own financial plan, customized for your lifestyle.
Throughout the course, you have access directly to me for help. I make myself available to answer any questions you may have, and we also have a private Facebook group where students can get help, provide help, and where they can interact with each other for everything related to managing the money.
Question 2: What are some of the biggest lessons people take away from your course?
CP: The biggest takeaway people receive from taking Awesome Money Course is they learn exactly how to create a real budget. The budget is the foundation of everything personal finance. If you’re struggling with measuring the day-to-day dollars, then how can you possibly be expected to manage it?
Once my students learn how to create, maintain, and manage their money, they begin to see a ton of success in all other areas of their money. Budgeting is not something that comes natural to us, and in fact is rather difficult to master alone. By having access to me as your coach, access to the resources available inside the course, and an open door into our private Facebook Group, my students have the continued support to getting their budget right this time around.
Question 3: Have you seen some dramatic results from people taking your course? What do the success stories look like?
CP: The success stories from my students are what I live for. As they start to trickle at the end of the course, it is a reminder of why this course was created, and how their lives will be forever changed for the better.
Take a look at Tamara from North Carolina for example. Before taking this course, she was a single mom of four children, constantly living paycheck to paycheck, and had failed over and over at managing her money. She was overwhelmed, trying to figure the finances out alone, and had tremendous stress about money.
“As soon as I started the course, my life and money were forever changed. For the first time in my life, I could see exactly what had been happening to my money and where it was going. The constant back and forth of trying to figure it alone was finally gone.”
In the first few weeks of Awesome Money Course, Tamara created a real budget and developed a savings plan that she was in control of. She paid off her credit card during the first 9 weeks and then saved up cash to buy a very nice used car that she was in desperate need of. However, her greatest win thus far was saving up her fully funded emergency fund which has lifted away the stress of living paycheck to paycheck while raising her 4 kids.
Question 4: If you had one thing to tell people about your course – and one thing only – what would it be?
CP: Personal finance is 90% behavior and 10% fifth grade math. I don’t think anyone signs up for a credit card expecting to carry a large balance at 27% interest, and I don’t think our dreams were to end up living paycheck to paycheck and completely broke.
The reason why we end up getting to this point in our lives has to do with the behavior with our money, not the math.
Therefore, the main focus of the entire course is directly related to the greatest problem with our money; the way we see, feel, and react to the finances on a daily basis.
Question 5: What kind of family is your course geared to? Who needs this course, and why?
CP: Before you become a student inside Awesome Money Course, you need to ask yourself this: “Am I ready to take action?”
The reason I want you to ask yourself this is because I know this course will help you and I’m extremely confident you will have remarkable results from the very start. However, you still need to do the work. I always tell my students in the very beginning to trust the process, learn the step-by-step system, and to take daily action. If you are only willing to watch a few videos and casually go through the process of managing your money, then this course is not going to be a great fit for you.
However, if you are living paycheck to paycheck, you feel overwhelmed by your debt, you consistently fall short of saving any money at all, and you are finally ready to take action by creating a plan for your money, then you are in the exact right place.
Awesome Money Course is the course teaching action-oriented students from all over the world how to create a plan, how to implement that plan, and how to maintain a financial future well beyond the day you graduate from the program. When you are ready to get started, we would love to have you join us so you can also take back control of your life and your money.

Sounds like a great course! I love that you are having people ask themselves if they are ready to take action before taking the course. To make big changes, you definitely have to put in the hard work!
